Parishioners of St. Pancratius Catholic Church had the profound privilege of witnessing a rare and deeply moving moment in the life of our spiritual home: the Mass for the Dedication of our New Altar.
The church was filled with a beautiful, holy solemnity. We were deeply blessed to have the Most Reverend José H. Gomez preside over this sacred liturgy, alongside Bishop Mark and the other priests who came to share in this historic day. Watching the anointing and preparation of the new altar reminded us that Christ rests at the very center of our lives and our community.
Our parish family owes a debt of gratitude to our church chaplain, Father Andrew, and our associate pastor, Father Miguel. Their prayerful guidance and dedicated leadership brought this beautiful project to life. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to our liturgical ministers and musicians, whose sacred music elevated our hearts to prayer.
The solemnity of the celebration was heightened by the dignified presence of Knights of Columbus Council 10140 and the Color Corps of Assembly 42, who provided a reverent guard of honor fitting for such a historic occasion.
As we look upon our new altar, we pray that it remains a continuous source of grace, unity, and deep spiritual renewal for our generation and for all those who will follow us.
